After the tour you have the last ten minutes to roam around to take pictures, gift shopping, buy some snacks and last but not least try the local beer. The details are as follows: The Mayan Site of Altun-Ha tour package includes; Belize City tour, Entrance fee to Altun Ha, and lunch The itinerary: Pick-up at the designated spot, the Belize City tour begins from the Tourism Village on the north side then a fully guided tour to Altun-Ha, located 31 miles from Belize City. Lunch at a nearby restaurant. Mayan Wells sits on 40 acres of paradise local food is on the menu + local beer (one per/adult). Then we head back to Belize City for the South Side tour of the City before drop-off at the designated spot. The tour takes a total of 4 hours or depending on time limit. Our Altun Ha tour with Allen was the highlight of our recent
cruise. Locating Allen with the EBT sign at the pier was
very easy and we really appreciated his knowledgeable
narration about the flora and fauna as we traveled and
while at the archaeological site. Of course, his informative
history of the Maya helped us to appreciate the significance
of the different structures of Altun Ha. Also, we really
enjoyed meeting friends at the missionary home and
assembly site in Ladyville. And then to top it all off, we had
a wonderful meal and visit with Carl and Martha ( and
"Toukie") at Mayan Wells restaurant. What a beautiful
setting! We have been telling all our friends to make sure
to include Belize and EBT in their future travel plans--we
sure will! Many thanks to the Dawsons for a great Belize
experience (even though we didn't get to meet Leah in
person, we really appreciate the prior contacts and
arrangements we made with her).
