The most fantastic day of our 7 day cruise. We were
meet by tour guide at the dock and taken on a short
tour of the town. Our guide was very knowledgeable
and demonstrated real enthusiasm, it was great to
stop on the way to take photos of the local wild life.
The time spent at Altun-Ha just flew by. The stop on
the way back to the boat, and lunch at a small road
side house was magical - I can only praise the cook for
a real Belize style meal, full of flavour and so different
from the stodgy on the boat. All in all the very best of
personal service from a team of people who live and
love their land and want to and do their best to share
it with us. Thank you for a really great day.

We highly recommend Experience Belize Tours!
On our recent cruise to Belize we were unable to book
a spot with a tour arranged by Carnival Cruise to the
Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Lucky us, because we
found Experience Belize Tours!
Instead of touring the site with a large crowd, we were
able to experience the ruins in a small group of six.
Our very personable guide Allen Dawson could not
have been better. Allen is very knowledgeable about
Belize's flora, fauna, history, and cultures and he has a
real passion for showing visitors his beautiful country.
The Xunantunich Ruins were stunning, one of the
highlights of our trip. Allen was mindful of our
schedule regarding the tender back to the cruise ship.
We returned to the dock with enough time to take a
quick look around the harbor and buy some
recommended rum.
Booking our tour was easy and hassle free. The sales
representative, Leah, answered all our questions and
responded to our emails promptly.
We would definitely use Experience Belize Tours again
on our next visit to Belize and thanks to Allen for an
amazing Experience.

We had so many choices for how to spend our day in Belize
during our Western Caribbean cruise.
I research Mayan Ruin sites and tour providers on the
internet. Most tours seemed impersonal and I wanted a guide
who would cater to the needs of our six family
members(including my parents age 82 and 84)
Allen our guide to Xunantunich exceeded our expectations.
We travelled in a luxurious van (not like the rickity buses we
heard some other companies used!) Our Mayan Ruins tour
was informative and entertaining. Lunch was local and
delicious. We even got to help hand crank the ferry. We would
recommend this tour to any one.
